Shadows Temple is the second single produced by Moi dix Mois. Like last time, it features two songs and two instrumental versions of those songs. You'll notice this time, though, that the keyboarding isn't nearly as prominent (although electronics are still present) and the guitar is emphasized.

Thoughts

Shadows Temple (well, okay, the -x version on NOCTURNAL OPERA) was my first Moi dix Mois song, and that pretty much set the mood for the band in its entirety for me. It's a great song to be introduced to Moi dix Mois with because it has a very dark death march theme going with the electric guitar, they're rocking out, rocking, rocking, still rocking, and then suddenly there's an abrupt shift to slow, classical music that makes you sway back and forth to the melody. And then there's more rocking out (all to beautiful lyrics of course) and that, my friends, is Moi dix Mois for you.

Night breed on the other hand basically gives the band a reason to blow out your eardrums. The electronic aspect of the music isn't very present in this one at all, but when it is it's almost like music that you would hear in a night club. Actually, if you like Rammstein, you're probably going to love Night breed.
